‘Heart Alchemi’ explores the space of metamorphosis —

CREATED AS A MEDITATION ON CHANGE,
THIS WORK CONSIDERS THE HEART AS SOMETHING ALCHEMICAL—
HOLDING MEMORY, EMOTION, AND EXPERIENCE,
AND endlessly TRANSFORMING THEM INTO SOMETHING NEW.

LIKE THE BUTTERFLY,
BECOMING ASKS US TO TRUST THE SPACE
BETWEEN WHAT WAS AND WHAT WILL BE.

HEART ALCHEMI IS A RECOGNITION
THAT TRANSFORMATION DOES NOT REQUIRE
ABANDONING OUR PAST,
ONLY ALLOWING IT TO TAKE NEW FORM.
