A study on strength and softness: Fire and lavender.


Growing up, I thought power meant force.

Pushing harder. Holding tighter. Becoming more.

I think we’re often taught we have to choose — to be gentle or powerful, sensitive or resilient, still or moving.

Nature taught me something different.

Flowers can be delicate and still push through cracks in stone.

Fire can destroy, but it can also warm, illuminate, and transform.

Fire + Lavender became a reminder that power doesn’t always need to be loud.

Sometimes it looks like staying open.
